When Premium is reactivated, access may resume if the character remains available under the relevant terms.
This creates a practical cancellation task: review the status of Premium and every paid Bot Subscription individually. A single cancellation confirmation may not prove all future recurring charges have stopped.
Neurons: messages, photos and videos
Official terms describe a charge of four Neurons to read one romantic message, up to 120 Neurons to view certain photographs and up to 1,900 Neurons to view certain videos. The phrase “up to” is important: these are ceilings for specified content categories, not universal prices for every image or video action.

These are Neuron quantities, not dollar prices. For a combined illustration, ten chargeable messages, five photos and two videos could consume up to 4,440 Neurons under those listed rates. The actual wallet purchase depends on the Neuron packs shown in your location. Do not multiply these numbers by an invented cash conversion.
JOI also sells virtual gifts priced in Neurons. A gift may feel separate from the subscription, but it draws on the same paid balance and belongs in a spending budget.
Voice, characters and what a paid plan unlocks
JOI presents a selection of virtual characters and optional voice and multimedia experiences. The right comparison is not simply whether “voice” appears on a feature list: there is a meaningful distinction between receiving an audio response, sending a voice message and holding a live call. Availability may depend on the specific character and entitlements.
Because individual bots can carry separate access rights, verify that your preferred persona supports the exact interaction you expect before purchasing extra access. There is little value in buying a generic Premium subscription for a character feature that turns out to require another payment.
JOI’s adult-content terms require users to be adults and define moderation restrictions. Content availability should not be taken as a guarantee that every request or generated result will be permitted.
Cancellation and protection against accidental recurring payments
The Terms direct users to “My Subscriptions” to cancel Premium. They also specify that Premium access continues until its paid term ends, while refunds for partial periods are generally not available. If Premium lapses, Premium-dependent Bot access is suspended.
Check three things at the end of a billing session: the Premium renewal date, all separate character subscriptions, and any unused Neurons. JOI warns that deleting an account can also remove access to paid features, virtual currency and gifts. A subscription cancellation and an account deletion are not the same action.
For readers concerned about sensitive data, read JOI’s published terms and privacy controls before creating identifiable chat or uploading real-person media. A private-feeling conversation and a legally guaranteed confidential record are not interchangeable.
